photo of the day: buildings of New York: GE building at Rockefeller Center
For me the Rockefeller Center symbolizes a certain side of New York
City like no other building (or building complex to be correct). You
can feel the awe that past generations must have felt when they stared
up to the top of the GE building, almost in the clouds.
Since a couple of years you can go up there again and personally I
like it more than the top of the Empire State, because it’s more in
the middle of things and you have unobstructed view from the top
platform.
